About
I got tired of watching people get treated like a diagnosis.
Meet Deepti Manepalli, board certified physical therapist and founder of Silver Strides.

Fifteen Years, One Recurring Problem
I've been a physical therapist in Marin for 15 years, and 13 of those were at Kentfield Hospital where I worked with geriatric, vestibular, orthopedic, and neurologic patients. It was good work and I learned an enormous amount. I also kept running into the same thing.
Someone would come in with knee pain. The knee would get treated. The knee would feel better for a while. Then it would come back, because the knee was never the problem.
I believe good care starts with listening, looking at the whole picture, and taking the time to understand what your body is telling you and time is exactly what most clinics can't give you
I opened Silver Strides so time wouldn't be the thing standing between you and an answer.
How I Work
I take the time to understand the whole picture—not just the symptom that brought you in. I consider how your body moves, what may be contributing to the problem, and how it affects the things you want to do.
Then I explain what I’m seeing in language that makes sense, so you understand your body, know what we’re working toward, and can be an active part of the process

Where We'll Work
The clinic is on 4th Street in San Rafael. It's a treatment room and a movement space with real equipment, big windows, and no fluorescent hum. It looks more like a well kept studio than a medical office, which is deliberate.
You'll have the whole space to yourself for your session.

Come Tell Me What's Going On
Sixty minutes, no referral needed*, and a real conversation about what your body is doing.
