It Doesn't Announce Itself

There's no day where you wake up weaker. There's just a suitcase that's heavier than it used to be, a jar you hand to someone else, a hike where you're the one asking for the break.

Aging can mean gradual changes in muscle mass, bone strength and cognitive function—but the body and mind are adaptable.

Why Start Here Before a Gym

If you're carrying an old injury, a joint that complains, a balance issue, or a body that's been sedentary for a while, you want someone who can assess the mechanics before loading them.

I evaluate how you actually move first. Where the restrictions are, which muscles have gone quiet, what your joints will tolerate, and where the risk is. Then we build strength on top of a foundation that can hold it.

Plenty of my clients graduate into a gym or a trainer, and that's the goal. This is where you build the base so that works instead of injuring you.

What We Build

Functional strength.

Movements your life requires. Getting off the floor. Carrying groceries up stairs. Lifting a grandchild. Loading a suitcase overhead. Strength that transfers rather than strength that only exists in a machine.

Bone health.

Loading matters for bone the same way it matters for muscle. This includes whole body vibration, which triggers muscle contraction and can support bone density, and progressive resistance work that gives bone a reason to stay dense.

Posture and mobility.

Decades of desks and phones leave a mark. We restore what's stiffened and strengthen what's lengthened so upright stops requiring effort.

Endurance.

Cardiovascular capacity is what makes long days possible. We build it in ways your joints agree with.
